IGC Overview


Informatics Global Campus (IGC) was established in 1999 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Informatics Education Ltd (IEL). The school offers a wide range of business and information technology programmes that are especially popular with working professionals. Over the years, IGC has produced many successful graduates from more than 68 countries.


With the advent of the Internet and proliferation of mobile devices, Online-Learning has become a global phenomenon that is growing at an exponential rate. By leveraging on the latest technology, the IGC learning system provides students a common platform to connect to their peers from around the world. IGC organises regular live-chat sessions and discussion forums to facilitate group learning and strengthen interaction between the learners and the subject matter experts. In addition to the course delivery tools, the IGC learning platform also hosts a number of learner-friendly services such as bulletin boards, schedulers, user accounts and self-service kiosk that keep the learner posted on the course events and in full control of their personal study itinerary.


IGC partner, University of Portsmouth (UK) to offer online degree courses in IT. The degree courses are quality assured directly by the university and are of the same standing as awards issued to the on-campus students. For masters and undergraduate degree courses validated by the University of Wales (UK), there are no more new enrolments from July 2014 onwards.
